Cookie policy
Last updated 24 October 2026
Cookies are small text files that a website saves on your device. This page explains the cookies ApplianceRentals.co.uk uses and how you can control them.
Cookies we use
We only use cookies that are needed for features you ask for. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies.
| Cookie | What it does | How long it lasts |
|---|---|---|
| ar_pc | Remembers the postcode you entered, so pages show the products that can be delivered to you. Set only when you enter a postcode. | 90 days |
| ar_pc_skip | Remembers that you chose to browse without a postcode, so we do not keep asking for one. | 30 days |
Because these cookies are strictly necessary to provide features you have requested, the law does not require us to ask for your consent before setting them. Site administrators also receive sign-in cookies when they log in to manage the site; these are never set for visitors.
Other websites
Fonts and icons on our pages are delivered by Google Fonts and cdnjs (Cloudflare). They do not set cookies through our pages, but your browser connects to their servers to load them.
When you follow a link to a rental company, its website may set its own cookies, including cookies that record that you were referred by us. Those cookies are controlled by the rental company and described in its own cookie policy.
Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block our cookies the site will still work, but you will need to enter your postcode on each visit to see what can be delivered to you.
Changes to this policy
If we start using any other cookies, such as analytics cookies, we will update this policy and ask for your consent first where the law requires it. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.
