Series 2 Freestanding Full-Sized Dishwasher - SMS26AW08G

About this dishwasher

The Bosch Series 2 SMS26AW08G is a freestanding, full-sized dishwasher, built to the standard 60cm width that suits most UK kitchen layouts. Full-sized models hold noticeably more than slimline ones, so a family's dinner plates, glasses, cutlery and a few pans can usually go in together after an evening meal. That means fewer runs and less washing up by hand.

Series 2 is Bosch's straightforward, everyday range. It focuses on dependable cleaning and simple controls rather than extra features, so choosing a programme and starting a wash is quick. Because it's freestanding, it doesn't need to be built into cabinetry and can sit in any suitable space with water and drainage access. This makes it a practical choice for rented homes or kitchens without an integrated housing.

The design is clean and understated and blends easily into most kitchens. If you're comparing models on capacity, energy efficiency or noise level, check the full specification on this page for the exact figures. Overall, it's a sensible pick if you want a reliable full-sized dishwasher from a well-known brand without paying for features you may never use.
