9kg Heat Pump Tumble Dryer - AHPD912W

About this tumble dryer

This Altimo heat pump tumble dryer has a 9kg drum, which is roomy enough for a typical family's weekly wash. A 9kg load can take bulky items such as a double duvet cover with pillowcases, or several days' worth of school uniforms and work shirts, so you'll need fewer cycles to get through the laundry pile.

Heat pump technology is the main reason to choose this type of dryer. Instead of venting hot, damp air outside, it recycles warm air within the machine and removes the moisture as water. That generally means lower running costs than a conventional vented or condenser dryer, and it doesn't need a hose to a window or wall vent, so you can put it wherever suits your home. Heat pump models also dry at lower temperatures, which is kinder to fabrics and helps reduce shrinkage.

As with most heat pump dryers, cycles can take a little longer than in traditional models, so it's worth planning loads ahead on busy days. For households that tumble dry regularly, it combines generous capacity with efficient everyday drying.
