Series 4 8kg Heat Pump Tumble Dryer - WTH85226GB

About this tumble dryer

The Bosch Series 4 WTH85226GB is an 8kg heat pump tumble dryer, a comfortable size for most family households. An 8kg drum takes a full load from a standard washing machine, so you can usually dry a week's worth of everyday clothes, towels or a double bedding set in one go rather than splitting loads.

Heat pump technology is the key feature here. Instead of venting hot air outside, the dryer recycles warm air through the drum, which uses noticeably less electricity than a traditional vented or condenser model. It also dries at lower temperatures, which is gentler on fabrics and helps reduce shrinkage and wear. The machine has an A++ energy rating, so day-to-day running costs stay lower, which adds up if you use it several times a week.

Because it doesn't need a vent hose, you can place it almost anywhere with a plug socket, such as a utility room, kitchen or spare cupboard. Collected water goes into a removable tank that you empty after drying. Sensor drying monitors moisture in the load and stops when clothes reach the selected dryness, which helps avoid over-drying and saves energy.
