BRAVIA 5 55" 4K XR Mini LED Smart Google TV - K55XR55B

About this TV

The Sony BRAVIA 5 is a 55-inch 4K TV that uses Mini LED backlighting. Thousands of tiny LEDs are grouped into local dimming zones, so bright highlights can shine while dark areas stay deep. That gives films and dramas more punch and helps the picture hold up in a sunny living room. Sony's XR processor handles upscaling, so HD broadcasts and streams look sharper on the 4K screen.

High dynamic range is well supported, including Dolby Vision, HDR10 and HLG, so streaming services and broadcasts that offer HDR show richer contrast and colour. Dolby Atmos support adds a sense of height and space to soundtracks, especially if you connect a compatible soundbar. Gamers can use HDMI 2.1 features such as 4K at 120Hz and variable refresh rate for smoother, more responsive play on current consoles.

Google TV brings your streaming apps together in one place, with recommendations drawn from the services you use. You can search by voice with Google Assistant, and Chromecast built-in lets you send videos and photos from your phone straight to the screen.
