BRAVIA 2 II 50" 4K Ultra HD Direct LED Google TV - K-50S25M2

About this TV

This 50-inch Sony BRAVIA 2 II shows a 4K Ultra HD picture, with four times the detail of Full HD. On a screen this size that means sharper text, finer textures in nature documentaries and crisper sport, especially when streaming in 4K. It's a good fit for a living room or a larger bedroom where you sit a comfortable distance from the screen.

The panel uses Direct LED backlighting, with LEDs placed behind the screen rather than around its edges. This gives more even brightness across the picture. Sony's 4K Processor X1 handles picture processing, upscaling lower-resolution TV channels and older content so they look cleaner on the 4K screen.

Google TV is built in and brings your streaming apps together in one place, with recommendations based on what you like to watch. You can browse by voice using Google Assistant, and Chromecast built-in lets you send videos and photos from a compatible phone or tablet straight to the TV. It's a straightforward, well-rounded choice for everyday viewing, streaming and catching up on favourite shows.
