About this TV

The LG NANO80 is a 55-inch 4K Ultra HD smart TV that uses LG's NanoCell technology for clear, colourful pictures. A 55-inch screen suits most living rooms, filling your view from a typical sofa distance without overwhelming the space. 4K resolution has four times the detail of Full HD, so streamed films, sport and nature documentaries look sharp, with fine textures and small on-screen text easy to make out.

NanoCell is LG's colour filtering layer, designed to purify colours so reds, greens and blues look richer and more natural. It works well in bright rooms and gives consistent colour when people watch from different seats, which helps when the whole household gathers round. It also supports HDR content from popular streaming services, so brighter highlights and deeper shadows show up in compatible shows and films.

As a smart TV, it runs LG's webOS platform, which puts streaming apps, live TV and connected devices on one simple home screen. You can move between catch-up services, subscriptions and games consoles without extra boxes. It is a straightforward, well-rounded choice for everyday viewing in a living room or family space.
