UA74 50" 4K Ultra HD LED 60 Hz Smart TV - 50UA74006LB

About this TV

The LG UA74 is a 50-inch 4K Ultra HD LED TV, so its 3840 x 2160 resolution gives sharp detail on streaming services, games and 4K content. A 50-inch screen suits most living rooms and bedrooms, and is big enough for films and sport while still sitting comfortably on a standard TV unit or wall.

The 60Hz panel refreshes the picture 60 times a second, which handles everyday viewing, from drama and news to football, smoothly. It's a sensible match for streaming and broadcast TV, though keen gamers wanting very high frame rates may prefer a 120Hz model. LG's 4K LED sets support common HDR formats such as HDR10 and HLG, which bring out extra brightness and contrast where programmes are made in HDR.

As a smart TV, it runs LG's webOS platform, so you can open popular streaming apps straight from the home screen without a separate box or stick. It's a straightforward, good-value choice if you want a clear, modern 4K picture with built-in apps from a well-known brand.
