10kg 1400rpm Washing Machine - AWM10142W

About this washing machine

The Altimo AWM10142W is a freestanding washing machine built around a generous 10kg drum and a 1400rpm maximum spin speed. A 10kg capacity suits busy households and larger families. It can take a full week's worth of school uniforms or work shirts in fewer loads, and it has the room to wash bulky items such as double duvets, bath sheets and winter coats.

The 1400rpm spin is towards the faster end for home washing machines. In practice, a faster spin draws more water out of your clothes before they leave the drum, so laundry comes out lighter and dries more quickly, whether it is heading for a clothes horse, the line or a tumble dryer. That can make a real difference during damp British winters, when drying indoors can take a long time.

Together, the large drum and quick spin make this Altimo model a practical choice if you wash often and want fewer, fuller loads. It is a straightforward, capable machine for everyday family laundry.
