8kg 1400rpm Washing Machine - AWM8142WG2

About this washing machine

The Altimo AWM8142WG2 is a freestanding washing machine with an 8kg drum and a top spin speed of 1400rpm, a practical combination for couples and small families. An 8kg load handles a good-sized weekly wash in fewer cycles, with room for a double duvet cover or a few days' worth of school uniforms and work clothes in one go.

The 1400rpm spin is towards the upper end for everyday machines. A faster spin draws more water out of your laundry before it comes out of the drum, so clothes dry more quickly on a rack or line and spend less time in a tumble dryer if you use one. On rainy days that can make a noticeable difference to how soon things are ready to wear again.

With its sensible capacity and brisk spin, this Altimo model suits households that want a dependable, straightforward washing machine for regular use. It's well matched to busy homes that wash several times a week and want laundry to come out of the drum ready to dry.
