U7S 50" 4K Ultra HD ULED MiniLED Smart TV - 50U7STUK

About this TV

The Hisense U7S is a 50-inch 4K Ultra HD smart TV that pairs Hisense's ULED picture processing with a Mini-LED backlight. The 4K resolution gives four times the detail of Full HD, so fine textures in films, nature documentaries and sport look crisp. At 50 inches, it suits most living rooms and larger bedrooms, giving a sizeable picture without dominating the space.

Mini-LED backlighting uses many very small LEDs behind the screen instead of a smaller number of larger ones. This lets the TV control brightness more precisely across different areas of the picture, so bright highlights can stand out while darker parts of the scene stay deeper and more controlled. In practice, this helps with evening viewing in a dim room and with brighter daytime viewing when sunlight hits the screen. ULED is Hisense's name for its range of picture technologies that fine-tune colour, contrast and motion.

As a smart TV, the U7S can connect to your home internet, so you can stream from popular apps without plugging in an extra box. It is a good fit for anyone who wants a step up in contrast and brightness from a standard LED TV in a manageable screen size.
