Playstation 5 Slim 4K Disc Drive 1TB SSD Play Has No Limits - Matt Finish

About this games console and controller

The Sony PlayStation 5 Slim with disc drive brings next-generation console gaming in a more compact design than the original PS5, finished here in a matt look. Its 1TB solid-state drive gives you room for a healthy library of games, and the high-speed SSD means loading screens are short, so you spend less time waiting and more time playing.

On a compatible TV, games can run in 4K resolution at up to 120fps, giving sharp detail and smooth, responsive motion that is especially noticeable in fast shooters and racing games. Ray tracing support adds realistic lighting, shadows and reflections in titles that use it. The built-in Ultra HD Blu-ray drive lets you play games on disc and watch 4K Blu-ray films, which is handy if you like buying or borrowing physical copies.

The included DualSense controller uses haptic feedback and adaptive triggers, so you can feel textures and the tension of a drawn bow or brake pedal. Tempest 3D AudioTech adds a sense of direction to sound through compatible headphones, and most PS4 games can be played too, so an existing collection carries over.
